How it’s done
When you access Smart Manager, you will be directed to the home screen, or the Dashboard, which contains a summary of each section of the registered catalog.
1) Recordings
In the Recordings section, you will see at the top the total amount of recordings registered in the system. In the line below, the items that need attention are highlighted in red until all corrections are made.
- (1) NO SPLITS: Recordings registered in the system that do not yet have information on holders and percentages of contracts configured.
To access these recordings, simply click on the highlighted number and choose a recording from the list to start the correction.
This list can also be accessed in the “Recordings” section, searching in the search field for the command “NOT:OWNERS”
- (2) NO ISRC: Recordings registered in the system that do not yet have ISRC information. The ISRC of a recording is generated by the music producer in the collecting societies.
To access these recordings , simply click on the highlighted number and choose a recordings from the list to start the correction.
This list can also be accessed in the “Recordings ” section, searching in the search field for the command “NOT:ISRC”
- Recordings of your works: Recordings referring to works registered in the catalog.
- Recordings without works: Recordings without information of works. To learn how to relate works to recordings, click here.
- Recordings with master: Recordings that have the master file on the system.
- (3) PROBLEMS WITH PERCENTAGE: Recordings that need corrections in the % of holders. Check if the sum of the percentages of all holders adds up to 100%.
