How it’s done
1) Search for information about a work
First, go to the “Works” tab within the “Catalog” section to select a work. Then select or search for the name of the work in the search field, and click on it to open more information,
2 – Review the percentages and composers edited in the “Rights” tab
Review the imported information in the “Rights” tab. In the Public Performance section, all owners and their respective publishers will appear indicated by a specific number.
03 – Correct or change associations between composers and publishers
If a songwriter is linked to the wrong publisher, click the hierarchy icon next to the percentage of public performance rights to open the editing fields.
Correctly relate each composer to their publisher indicating the respective number for each rights owner. In the example below, the title “Guilherme Mesquita” is published by “Smart Rights”, therefore both have the number one (yellow dot). The title “Ezal Teixeira” does not have a publisher, therefore it does not have a correspondent for number two (red dot).
To confirm the information, click the green check box next to the hierarchy icon.
