How to read product information on the dashboard

How It’s Done

When you log in to your account, you automatically enter the Dashboard page. That page has a summary of the data information of your catalog, reports and payments, indicating items that may need attention in red.

If you check the Products section in the dashboard, you will find: 

• Without Splits – Number of products where splits are missing (need user input);
• Not Released – Number of products not yet released on DSP services;
• With Explicit Lyrics – Number of products with explicit lyrics;
• Issues With Splits – Number of products where the sum of splits is not 100% (need user input to correct).

1 – Click on “Without splits” to find all the products you need to input the splits set forth in your contract.

2 – The list of all products without splits will appear as shown in the screen below, where you can click on their cover art to check product details.

3 – Click on “rights” and input the split percentages according to the contract between label and artist. You will need to input this information to every product once. You can set different splits according to different rights if you need. Otherwise, you can set it for one right and then copy it to the others using the “copy from” button.

4 – If you need to make corrections on “not released”, “explicit lyrics” or “issues with splits” in the dashboard, you just need to click on them to access the metadata and make the  necessary changes.
