How to export recording metadata

How It’s Done

1) Click on the tab “Recordings”

On the left side menu, click on the “Recordings” tab (1) within the Catalog section. Use the search bar to find the recordings you want. Enter all or part of the name and the system will list the related recordings below.

To apply filters to the recordings list, simply type the following commands in the search bar:

• Use the “NOT:OWNERS” command to list recordings that do not have owner information in the split fields.
• Use the “NOT:ISRC” command to list recordings that do not have information from the registered ISRC.
• Use the “HAS:WORKS” command to list recordings that have works registered.
• Use the “NOT:WORKS” command to list recordings that do not have works registered.
• Use the “HAS:PREVIEW_URL” command to list recordings that have master files attached.

Click on the actions button in the lower left corner and select the “Export” option (2) to download the list displayed on the screen.

2) Select the type of report you want to export

By clicking on the “Export” option, a window will appear to select the type of spreadsheet to export. You will be able to select from the following options:

• Recordings: Exports the metadata of the recordings displayed in the search
• Right Owners:Exports information on the right owners and percentages of the recordings displayed in the search

The exported spreadsheet has the following information:

• Recordings:
  • _id
  • titulo (title)
  • isrc
  • codigo_ecad (ecad code)
  • duracao (duration)
  • instrumental
  • tipo (type)
  • data_de_gravacao (recording date)
  • custom_id
  • artist_name
  • owners
  • pro_owners
  • licensing_owners
• Right Owners:
  • _id
  • titulo (title)
  • isrc
  • codigo_ecad (ecad code)
  • duracao (duration)
  • instrumental
  • tipo (type)
  • data_de_gravacao (recording date)
  • custom_id

All done! Now you can export your information and be even more agile in your rights management!
