How to query work information

How to do it

1) Access the “Works” tab

In the left-hand side menu, click on the “Works” tab within the Catalog section.

Works counter

In the right-hand corner, you will find an indicator of the number of works present in the catalog.

Search Bar

At the top of the page, you will find a search bar to facilitate the search for works within the catalog. Type the full name or part of the name and the system will list the related works below.

To apply filters to the list of works, simply type the following commands in the search bar:

• Use the command “NOT:OWNERS” to list works that do not have owner information in the split fields.
• Use the command “NOT:ISWC” to list works that do not have registered ISWC information.
• Use the command “HAS:LYRICS” to list works that have registered lyrics.
• Use the command “HAS:FONOGRAMAS” to list works that have related recordings.

Icons

In the list of works you will see a summary of the registration that includes the ISWC, ECAD Code, Owners and the following icons:

• Owners (1): Indicates the number of owners in the work’s registration
• Recordings (2): Indicates the number of recordings/phonograms related in the registration
• Lyrics (3): Indicates that the work has registered lyrics

2) Select a work

To find out more information about a work, simply select one from the list by clicking on it.
When you click, you will see the work’s metadata information and also tabs for more information such as Lyrics, Rights, Recordings and Related Products.
