How to download your Universal Music Publishing sales report

How to do it

Step 1

Log into the Okta system and click on the UPMG Image inside the screen (purple color).

Step 2

Enter your login and password and click on access.

Step 3

On this screen, go to the top menu of the page, click on reports, and just below “archived reports” you will have access to the quarters for download.

Step 4

Always download from the Detailed Reports column and click the blue arrow to start the download.

Step 5

Always copy with Control C and Control V the file date – 2021-02 (01 Jul 2021 to 31 Dec 2021).

Step 6

In your PC’s download folder, locate the file, right-click, and choose to extract the ZIP.

Step 7

Open the folder, and a TAB file will appear. Right-click on the file, rename it to Q3_Q4_2021 or use the date you copied in step 5, and change the file extension from TAB to CSV.

Step 8

When changing the file extension to CSV, this screen will appear, click YES.

Done, your file is ready to upload to SMART MANAGER.

Step 9

In SMART MANAGER, click on the side menu – Administered Publisher.

Step 10

In the right side menu, click on import.

Step 11

Choose your administrator and click ok.

Step 12

Select the CSV file you renamed, enter the start date of the quarter, select the currency BRL. Further down in the popup, click import.

Done, your report is now in the system! Repeat the process every quarter to keep the system updated.
