How to batch import YouTube videos by IDs

How to do it

The video IDs are automatically imported into the system when you upload the sales report from your distributor. Always upload the most recent sales report.

But if you are distributed by The Orchard and/or Believe Digital, then the video IDs are not included in your reports.

If your distributor does not have this information in their sales report, you need to request an Excel spreadsheet from your distributor with the four essential pieces of information for the video that is on YouTube for proper sales processing.

Step 1

Create the Excel spreadsheet as shown in the image below, and send it to your distributor to fill in the 4 essential pieces of information: Video Name, Video ID, Video ISRC, and Video UPC.

Step 2

As soon as you receive the filled spreadsheet, log into the system and click on the “Videos” menu.

Step 3

Click on the menu at the bottom left.

Step 4

Click on import.

Step 5

Choose the Excel file with the information sent by your distributor that includes the four essential details from YouTube.

Step 6

With the Excel file in CSV format loaded – Click on import.

Done, all your videos that are published on YouTube will be loaded automatically.
